KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Prosecutors charged Gary P. Goodspeed, 22, with four counts of first-degree robbery and four counts of armed criminal action on Monday.
Police said Goodspeed was arrested after a standoff on Sunday. He is suspected of armed robberies dating back to February of this year.
According to court documents, in a recent robbery that Goodspeed is suspected in, a woman who had been called to a residence in the 2100 block of E. 70th Terrace was robbed in front of the house after she arrived. After a second woman was called from the same cell phone number to the same location, police responded.
Prosecutors have requested a $500,000.
