KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries late Wednesday morning after he was discovered in a parking garage on Rockhill Road on the UMKC campus.
Authorities believed he was injured in a fall.
He was discovered at about 11:20 a.m.
Details of the incident are under investigation.
The University of Missouri-Kansas City sent out the following message to those signed up to receive their alerts:
“The UMKC Rockhill Parking Structure at 51st and Rockhill Rd. is temporarily closed for an active police investigation. There is no threat to campus safety or security.”
