KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man suffers electric shock Friday morning at a home in the 1300 block of E. 42nd when his ladder came in contact with an overhead power line.

Police on the scene told FOX 4 that the man was alive and being transported to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.

According to a tweet from KCMO Police Chief Darryl Forte EMS crews had  to revive the man.

FOX 4 has a crew on the scene and will add new information as it becomes available.
