KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Around 10 a.m. on Saturday troopers discovered a man’s body in the Missouri River which had washed ashore near River Front Park, just west of I-435.
Authorities have been searching for a man who had jumped from the Heart of America Bridge into the Missouri River back on April 9.

The body will be examined and later identified by the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s office.
