MARSHALL, Mo. — The day after Christmas, a Marshall, Mo., woman was stabbed to death at a home on Birchwood Circle. According to The Marshall Democrat-News, police named Terry Thompson of Marshall, Mo., as the suspect.

According to The Marshall Democrat-News, police were called to the scene after a 911 call at 10:47 p.m. reported a woman had suffered lacerations. Emergency responders found Rebecca Fisher, 32, lying on the porch of a home. Police said she suffered stab wounds and was transferred to an area hospital where she later died.

Police said the suspect, Terry Thompson, 45, was headed east and last known to be east of Columbia. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Marshall police at (660) 886.7411.
