KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Missouri Police are looking for two men caught on camera trying to steal at ATM on Wednesday morning.

The ATM is located at the Gas Mart USA, 4111 Blue Ridge Cutoff. Surveillance video shows two men arriving in a pickup truck just before 4:00 a.m. They break the front window of the store, wrap a strap around the ATM and attach the other end to the truck and try to pull it out.

The strap broke and apparently out of options, the two men drive away and leave the strap wrapped around the ATM, according to a report in the Kansas City Star.

When the window was broken, an alarm sounded and the suspects fled the scene, police said.

Watch the surveillance video to see what happened. At the :33 second mark, the suspects can be scene getting out of their vehicle. At approximately the 1:10 mark, the strap can be seen breaking as the suspects leave the scene.
