It’s not too late to get your flu shot, as one metro clinic is offering low-cost shots this week.
Emergent Care of Lee’s Summit and Leawood are offering the flu shots for just $10, starting on Monday through Friday, as part of “Urgent Care Awareness” week.
The clinic says that they are hoping that the cheap vaccinations will bring more people through their doors. According to the Centers for Disease Control, it’s best to get your flu vaccinations before December to make sure that you’re protected before flu activity reaches its peak.
The shots will be available for $10 at the following locations:
