LENEXA, Kan.—It affects everybody in one way or another, and if you aren’t a cancer patient or survivor the chances are that you know or love someone who is.

On Sunday, cancer survivors from across the metro gathered at Shawnee Mission Park to stand together as part of National Cancer Survivors Day.
