RAYMORE, Mo. — A Minnesota truck driver is on a mission to collect food and other pet supplies to help homeless and injured animals in Moore, Oklahoma.
Jennifer Roach says she was moved by the number of animals missing and left homeless from the EF-5 tornado that she had to do something. While Roach says she doesn’t have a lot of money she has a massive truck and used it to collect donated goods to do some good for the animals in Moore.
Roach began her three-day mission in Minnesota Saturday and spent Sunday in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and ended up in her hometown of Raymore, Mo., on Monday.
Roach says many of the donations she received came from people who read her Facebook page, 4 Paws Up for OK.
Roach says all of the donations will be given to the Moore Animal Shelter.
