KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Sunday’s “minor” snow event had drivers feasting on leftovers Monday morning.
The roads, while overall not bad, were far from perfect as commuters discovered during the heaviest part of the drive into work.
Big delays on Southbound 635 through Kansas City, Kan., were reported due to an accident on I-70. That accident has since cleared.
On the south side, delays lingered into the tail end of the morning commute with a wreck in the westbound lanes of 435 past State Line.
At one point the Westbound 435 run took 30 minutes from the Triangle to 69 Hwy. Triple the normal time.
The FOX 4 Weather Team is forecasting warmer temps later this week which will help melt away enemy number one in Kansas City, the snow.
