Authorities in Henry County south of the metro are investigating after a woman was found injured along the side of a road near Montrose.
According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Department, the woman, identified as Cassie D. Hill, 23, of Clinton, was found alongside a roadway just south of Montrose around 3:00 p.m. on Monday afternoon. Hill had been reported missing by her husband to the Clinton Police Department by her husband earlier in the afternoon.
Authorities say that Hill was transported to a Kansas City area hospital – her condition has not been released.
