AUBURN, Ala. — Missouri bounced back from Wednesday night’s home court loss to Georgia with a 70-68 victory at Auburn. Earnest Ross made four free throws in the final 1:34 to give the Tigers a three-point lead.

Auburn’s Chris Denson made one-of-two free throws with five seconds remaining, but missed his second. Mizzou’s Torren Jones grabbed the defensive rebound, but stepped out of bounds with 2.9 seconds left.

Auburn’s in-bounds pass was deflected and MU’s Jabari Brown grabbed the ball along the sideline as time expired. Brown appeared to travel with the ball before the clock hit zero, but it wasn’t called.

Jordan Clarkson led Mizzou with 20 points. Ross had 16, and Brown added 15. The Tigers (13-2 / 1-1 in SEC) go to Vanderbilt on Thursday.
