Coming off its second loss of the season, the Missouri Tigers (19-2, 6-2) outplayed and outlasted a poor Texas Tech team in Columbia on Saturday, winning 63-50.

Missouri didn’t have the dominating kind of bounce back game it wanted after the loss to Oklahoma State earlier in the week, but the Tigers did return to the win column.

Senior guard Kim English scored 18 of his game-high 22 point in the first half, and was helped in scoring by fellow senior guard Marcus Denmon, who had 19.

Texas Tech (7-13, 0-8) was paced by Ty Nurse who came off the bench to score 13. No Texas Tech starter scored in double digits, or more than four points. Missouri led by 7 points at the half, 31-24.

The Tigers next play on the road Monday night at Texas in Austin.
