KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police are investigating a shooting at a gas station Monday morning during rush hour after a man was shot in the arm by another driver during a road rage fight.

Both drivers were headed down Bannister when apparently one driver cut off the other.

They began shouting at each other through the windows. The driver of the pickup says he pulled off the road to fill up his truck at a gas station. While he was driving into the gas station, the other driver opened fire; the bullet went through the front window of the victim’s truck, sending glass flying, and the bullet into the victim’s arm.

The suspect got away. Police do not yet have a description of the vehicle or the suspect. If you saw anything Monday morning at Bannister and Blue Ridge, call the Tips Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
