Protesters shut down I-70 in both directions at the Blanchette Bridge in St. Louis for a half hour during rush hour. The dramatic scene unfolded live during breaking news on FOX 4 News at 5 p.m.

Protestors carrying yellow boxes that said “Ferguson is everywhere” stood with their arms locked. At one point as a driver tried to push through the protesters. They jumped in front of the SUV. One person even kicked in the side of the vehicle leaving a huge dent.

Police moved in.  Some protesters were arrested on the highway, others on the side of the interstate. Police arrested more than 60 people and hauled them away in a bus to the county jail.
