KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Police are investigating an accident which left a motorcyclist dead.
Police responded to the scene of a two vehicle collision near 89th and Wornall Sunday night. They said a black Harley motorcycle was traveling south at a high rate of speed on Wornall, at the same time a green SUV was pulling out of a restaurant parking lot.
The motorcycle struck the driver’s side of the SUV, partially ejecting the driver. The motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the green SUV was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
So far, police have not released the victim’s identity.
