OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Traffic in the northbound lanes of I-35 before 75th Street was moving at a snail’s pace Friday morning due to an accident that blocked two lanes. All lanes were back open by 7:15 a.m.
At 6:40 a.m., the backup extended beyond the Overland Parkway and by 6:45 a.m. it had reached 87th Street. The accident doesn’t appear to involve critical injuries, but did involve an estimated seven vehicles.
In Gardner, 159th and Moonlight, an accident there has also slowed the inbound traffic. A person in that crash was reportedly seriously injured.
