KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Speech is one of the biggest challenges for a person with Down Syndrome.  It affects learning, working and relationships.

For about 30 years, children with Down Syndrome have been taught traditional speech therapy methods, but are those methods working?

One researcher doesnʼt think so, and he’s studying a new speech therapy designed just for kids with Down Syndrome.
