NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Due to a water main break, one area elementary school had been left without water.

According to Michelle Cronk with NKC Schools, Briarcliff Elementary School was without water due to a water main break which happened late Tuesday on the school’s property. Maintenance was working on the issue Wednesday, and in the meanwhile buckets of water for the toilets and bottled water and hand sanitizer were brought in for faculty and students.

Around 1:30 p.m. workers were able to restore water to the facility.
