LAS VEGAS — Miss Iowa shared some very definitive ideas on marijuana legalization during the 92nd Miss America pagaent on Saturday night.

During the Q&A segment of the pageant program on Saturday night, Miss Iowa 2012 Mariah Cary was asked about her views regarding the legalization of marijuana. In her answer, she said that the question of legalization depends on the situation, saying that she knows people who use medical marijuana as a, “last resort.”

However, she thinks there should be limits – albeit of a slightly vague sort.

“I do not think it should be used for anything but recreational use and health care,” she answered.

Cary, who according to the Miss Iowa website wants to work in public relations, finished as third runner-up to eventual winner Mallory Hagan from New York.
