YORK, Neb. — A Nebraska man has changed his name to Tyrannosaurus Rex — more specifically, Tyrannosaurus Rex Joseph Gold.
Formerly know as Tyler Gold of York, Neb., the 23-year-old entrepreneur can now shake hands at business meetings and introduce himself as an extinct dinosaur. According to the New York Times, Gold said he wanted to change his name to the T-Rex designation because it’s “cooler.”
“Also, as an entrepreneur, name recognition is important and the new name is more recognizable,” he said.
But perhaps no other name is more recognizable than the man who went from Jeffrey Drew Wilschke to Beezow Doo-Doo Zopittybop-Bop-Bop. You remember him, right? We all do.
