CHICAGO — Most people who live in Chicago know about a restaurant where customers are greeted with rudeness. It’s what people have come to expect when they sit down to eat at Ed Debevic’s.
According to FOX 4 sister station WGN-TV in Chicago, that’s what happened to Facebook user LaNetta Limb Maxfield, who was visiting Chicago from Iowa. Recently she recorded a video of her waitress “Cherry” serving up some sass to her and her fellow diners while they placed their orders.
“You wanna cheap out, that’s cool,” said Cherry to the adults ordering from the kid’s menu, along with many other insults she was throwing at group. According to Cherry she would get “canned” is she provided friendly polite service to them.
“If you want good service, you go somewhere else. I know Hooters is probably more your speed but you came here on purpose,” she said.
