KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Protect your eardrums because the squealing has commenced, as Kansas City fans of the superstar group One Direction learn that the boy band is coming to Arrowhead Stadium on Tuesday, July 28, 2015.
The Chiefs made the announcement on Thursday that “music is returning to Arrowhead.” The concert will mark the fifth concert to come to Arrowhead Stadium since 2011.
Tickets for the July 28, 2015 concert will go on sale to the general public at noon on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014. Prior to the general public on-sale, a presale will be offered to Jackson County taxpayers, Chiefs suiteholders, Chiefs corporate partners and Season Ticket Members on Thursday, Oct. 30.
Arrowhead was one of 17 North American stadiums announced for the group’s tour, following a six-stop tour in Europe. Kansas City is the fifth stop on the North American leg of the schedule and the only stop in the six-state region of Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
The general public will be able to purchase tickets beginning at noon on Saturday, Nov. 1 at www.ticketmaster.com, by phone at (800) 745-3000, in person at any Ticketmaster outlet or at the Arrowhead Stadium Ticket Office located between Founder’s Plaza and the Hy-Vee Gate on the northwest side of the stadium. Tickets can also be purchased at www.LiveNation.com.
