KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One of the owners of FC Kansas City women’s soccer club could be in some hot water over inappropriate emails he’s accused of sending to his partners, mentioning female soccer players.

A confidential source sent FOX 4 News the emails which date back to 2013, between FCKC owners Chris Likens and his sons Brad and Greg. Partner Brian Budzinski was also copied on the emails.

In one email from January of 2013, sent from what appears to be Chris Likens’ personal email account, he refers to a couple of soccer players living in his barn and says: “I ride everything every chance I get.”

Other emails appear to include sexy pictures with commentary of international female soccer players where Likens appears to refer to them as “really, really hot,” and in one case, stating the woman, “wants to play for Chris’ new team.”

Likens also owns the Missouri Comets.

As part of a larger lawsuit, Budzinski has filed a complaint against the Likens, to find out whether Brad and Greg Likens used Comets computers and servers to send scantily attired and suggestively posed pictures of FCKC’s female players in a way that created a hostile and discriminatory work environment.

FOX 4’s Shannon O’Brien went by the Likens’ office on Friday to ask about the emails, but was locked out and an employee inside, who talked only through the glass, told O’Brien no one was there who could comment.

Budzinski also says he has no comment on the matter.
