JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. — Firefighters are battling an out-of-control brush fire in the Santa Ana River bed which is threatening several homes.
The fire was reported about 4:30 near Rio Road and Calle Hermosa at the south end of Rancho Jurupa Park, fire officials said.
It’s believed the 75 acres blaze was started by downed power lines.
