LENEXA, Kan. — A metro family is cleaning up after a fire damaged their Johnson County home early Wednesday morning.

The blaze broke out at the home near 87th and Lackman Road around 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning. According to authorities, the blaze started on a back deck and then spread inside the house, causing some smoke and water damage.

There were no reports of injuries in the fire. The cause of the blaze has not yet been determined.
