KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Police released a picture of a car they believe could be connected to the woman’s burned body found Monday evening in the area of 19th and Brooklyn.

Although the picture is not the actual vehicle, police say one similar to it was seen in the area shortly before the woman was discovered. The victim is described as a small black woman between 5’2 and 5’6 with dyed, red hair.

The car is believed to be a late ’80s to 1990’s model, two-door, white Ford Thunderbird with a rear spoiler.

The area where the body was found is largely industrial. Volunteers and police hope that someone in the area noticed something that will lead to the victim’s identity or an arrest.

If you know of a missing person that fits the woman’s description police have provided, please call the TIPS Hotline.
