KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Police apprehended four armed carjacking suspects in Kansas City, Kansas on Sunday.
According to a tweet from Chief Forte with the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department, the four suspects were arrested near 55th and State Avenue. Kansas City, Kansas police were being assisted by the Kansas City Missouri Police Department. One firearm was recovered at the scene.
The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department said a carjacking took place in Kansas City, Missouri which prompted the chase of the suspects into KCK, involving both police departments.
As of Sunday night information regarding the specific location of the carjacking was not provided, nor were suspect names or descriptions.
