KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An investigation has begun after railroad workers found bones that police believe are human. Officers were dispatched to an area near Lydia Avenue and Dora Street at about 4:10 on Friday afternoon.

A police dispatcher said that once on scene the responding officers requested a dead body report, which further pushes the belief that they are investigating a dead human’s remains. We will continue to follow developments from this story and give updates as they are available.
