KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police discovered a man’s body in the doorway of a residence after receiving a call reporting gun shots being heard late Friday night.

Upon arrival at the scene, police located the man’s body in the front doorway of a residence at 2539 Quincy in Kansas City, Mo. No other parties were present at the location when the officers arrived.

The man, who police identified on Saturday as Eric R. Harrell, 33, Kansas City, Mo., had died from an apparent gun shot injury.
