SHAWNEE, Kan. – Police are looking for the suspect of an early morning robbery at a Shawnee convenience store.

Shortly before 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, police said a white male walked into the 7-Eleven, located at Midland and Renner, with a towel draped over his hand and arm. The suspect claimed to have a gun and reportedly robbed the clerk.

The suspect was described as wearing a long sleeved red hooded sweatshirt, baggy blue jeans, a light colored belt that hung down to the mid-thigh, black slide-on sandals, light colored shorts or boxers under his jeans and a red bandana covering his face.
