INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Police in Independence are investigating after a woman was found dead in the 3300 block of Cardinal Court.
Police said a relative found the woman’s body and called police Tuesday around 10 p.m. Investigators said the woman’s death appears suspicious.
“We were unable to answer some questions that we had regarding the death,” said Tom Gentry, Independence public information officer. “And that’s what it’s considered at this point — just a death investigation.”
Police have not released the woman’s name or age.
