TOPEKA, Kan. – Police are investigating a triple homicide after discovering three bodies in a Topeka, Kan. home on Sunday night.
At about 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, two teenage boys, who police said were out riding skateboards, came across a woman who was critically injured in a parking lot behind a strip mall off S.W. 21st Street.
According to the Topeka Capital-Journal’s website, police located what they believed might be the woman’s maroon Crown Victoria in the parking lot of a car wash near to where the teenagers spotted her.
As police continued the investigation, they discovered the bodies of three deceased adults inside of a residence, located at 1629 S.W. Central Park Ave, just blocks away from the critically injured woman.
According to cjonline.com neighbors of the residence said they believed a maroon Crown Victoria and a white van, which were typically parked in front of the house, belonged to the residents.
The woman who was injured, described as being in her forties, was in critical condition at a Topeka hospital as of Monday morning.
