KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Police were looking for a 6-year-old girl reported missing for a short time Wednesday afternoon in Kansas City, Kan.
Amia Walker was found just before 6 p.m. at a neighbor’s home, police say.
The girl’s mother became concerned when she didn’t return home after getting off the bus earlier in the afternoon. The girl was instructed to go to a neighbor’s home if her mother was not at her home.
Initial reports indicate the girl went home, and when her mother wasn’t home, did as instructed and went to the neighbor’s home who apparently took the girl on an errand.
Police confirmed no foul play was involved.
