OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Police are looking for two people who attempted to steal an ATM from a Walgreens near 127th and Pflumm in Overland Park, Kan.
The attempted theft occurred around 5:45 a.m. Friday. Police said two men in a white van backed up to the Walgreens and pried open the door. They were unable to steal they ATM because it was bolted down. Police said they traveled north, but only made it about five blocks to 121st Street where an officer spotted them.
The suspects ditched the van and ran off. Police are now searching for them using a K-9 unit.
