BELTON, Mo. — The co-owner of Baby Cakes Bakery, located in the River Market, was found dead Thursday, Dec. 15. He had been missing since Monday, Dec. 12.
Paul Bickimer, 50, was last seen leaving his house in Belton, Mo., on Monday morning. He was found with his white Ford pickup truck in rural Miami County. Police have ruled his death a suicide.
According to Bickimer’s family, he had heart surgery the week before and had checked himself out of the hospital on Sunday against his doctor’s advice.
