KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Police identified a homicide victim who died on Saturday as 46-year-old Anthony T. Beasley, a KCMO resident. Police are still investigating after discovering a man and a woman involved in a struggle with Beasley when police arrived to the scene.

At approximately 7 p.m. on Saturday KCPD officers were called to 5442 Norton where a reported disturbance was said to be taking place. When police arrived at the scene they discovered a man and woman struggling with Beasley.

Officers determined Beasley was unconscious and not breathing.  He was then transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.  The cause of death and circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
