OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Overland Park, Kan., police have been contacted regarding two incidents within the past week about a person who exposed himself to groups of underage children.
According to police, the first incident occurred in the area of 91st Terrace and Robinson and the second occurred in the area of 85th Street and Grant.
In both incidents, children reported a man approached them on foot and exposed himself before leaving the area.
Overland Park officers are investigating these incidents. Police said officers on all shifts have been alerted to these incidents for additional patrol.
The suspect was described in both incidents as a white man, 20 to 30 years old, or middle aged, dark or brown hair, about 5’ 6” to 5’10” tall with a slender build. He was wearing a dark colored or black jacket and jeans. In one of the incidents, the suspect was also described as wearing a black hat, police said.
The Shawnee Mission School District has sent out a notification of these incidents to effected parents in both cases.
