KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Missing for more than four days, 15-year-old Nateriel Beaver has been found safe and unharmed, according to Kansas City, Mo., Police Chief Darrel Forte. Forte tweeted the information around 7:50 a.m.
Police sought the public’s help in locating the missing teen on Tuesday. Beaver was last seen getting off the bus after school near her home, located in the 7300 block of E. 109th Street.
Prior to Beaver being found, her mother, Kimberly Frost, spoke with FOX 4’s Kathy Quinn Wednesday morning, insisting her daughter was not a runaway.
“That is not even a question with me,” Frost said. “But the fact that my daughter is missing is the big point of the issue. She is missing and she’s a child that need to be back home with her mother.”
Frost said it was very out of character for her daughter to go somewhere without contacting her to let her know where she is.
“It just seems like somebody is holding her or something because this is not like her,” she said. “I’ve never had a problem with her. I mean she’s a respectful, beautiful young girl.”
