GRANDVIEW, Mo. – Police are urging parents and children to be cautious and on the lookout after a stranger danger incident was reported on Tuesday, June. 17.

Grandview police said on that day around noon, an unknown subject approached a 13-year-old student leaving an area school, located in the 5400 block of east 140th Street. The man then attempted to entice the student into his vehicle.

Police described the individual as a white male around 30 years of age, with a thin build and blond hair. He stands approximately 5’8” tall and was wearing oval shaped glasses.

The man’s four-door vehicle was described as mid-to-late 1990s model with a gray rear bumper.
