CALDWELL COUNTY, Mo. — Officials are investigating in Caldwell County after skeletal remains were found this weekend in a remote area of the county, the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office said.
The remains appear to be human, officials said.
It is in an area in close proximity to where a person was reported missing on June 15, 2012, the sheriff’s office said.
Officials hope to identify the remains after an autopsy.
No other information was immediately available.
