KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An estimated 40,000 homes were without power Sunday night after thunderstorms rolled through the Kansas City metro.
FOX 4’s Gia Vang filed this report from English Landing Park on the Missouri River.
No one will be allowed in this area, because of a tree limb that went down on to some power lines.
A Parkville police officer told FOX 4 News that snapped a power line in half, but to his knowledge no businesses nearby have lost power.
He said they have notified Kansas Power and Light, the power company for this area.
