August Rose’s dad posted a video to YouTube of his daughter buckling her car seat.
“Worry about yourself! Worry about yourself!” she instructs him when he asks her ‘Can I help?’ as she struggles to buckle up. “You drive! Worry about yourself! Go drive!”
“You can help when we go out to eat,” she says.
Before some of you think she is showing disrespect, Little Rose does say the words every kid should be taught: “No thank you, No thank you.”
The video was posted in 2013, but is circulating again online and has received almost seven million views since then. What do you bet August Rose has become even more assertive and self-sufficient!? Thankfully she seems to have a daddy who appreciates her independent, stubborn streak.
It’s a fun reminder of another cute kid, who became quite famous last year after a YouTube video showed him arguing with his mom over cupcakes.
