KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Jackson County prosecutors will seek the death penalty for Brandon Howell, who is the man accused of killing five people in South Kansas City last year during an attempted robbery.
They believe he beat George and Ann Taylor to death as he tried to rob them, then shot and killed three neighbors as he tried to get away. Next week marks one year since the murders.
The Woodbridge Homes Association is expected to dedicate a memorial to the victims during that time.
