ARLINGTON, Texas — The AT&T Cotton Bowl matching Mizzou against Oklahoma State begins Friday at 7:00 p.m on FOX 4.

FOX 4’s Abby Eden has been in Arlington all week, talking to the Mizzou team, the fans and some of those wearing orange, too.

She spent a lot of time with the college students who make up the Mizzou football team. They showed their determination about the job ahead of them. While enjoying their time in Arlington and the enormity of the game, they also seemed to enjoy poking a little fun at each other.

“Pat’s a party-pooper. Big party-pooper.  Look at him,” said Evan Boehm. “He’s angry ’cause he’s short.”

“Food all day. We get so much food. It’s crazy. I’m surprised. I might have to go get in the sauna, sweat off a couple pounds. They putting too much weight on me,” said Desmond Roland.

“I sing everyday. Anything that crosses my mind. Anything anywhere. I think I’m that good,” said Michael Sam.

Mizzou fans, College football bowl fans, make sure your schedule includes Abby’s coverage beginning at 6:00 p.m. Friday night when we begin the Cotton Bowl Countdown LIVE from Arlington.

Her report on quarterback James Franklin includes a conversation with his parents.

“Well, this one is because I’m blite. B-L-I-T-E. Black dad, white mom. So this is me half — black,  half-white. And my mom is literally that white and my dad is literally that black,” said James Franklin.

Eden also retraces Mizzou’s last appearance in the Cotton Bowl in 2008, remembering that 2007 team that got them there.

Then, at 6:30 p.m., FOX Sports will have their pre-game show before the game begins at 7:00 p.m.
