RAYTOWN, Mo. – A man was robbed of his car at gunpoint on Wednesday in Raytown, Mo.
Around 5:50 p.m. on Wednesday police said they received a call about a vehicle being taken at gunpoint near Blue Ridge Boulevard and Spring Valley Road.
The victim said he was sitting in his car when a man knocked on his driver side window, and pointed a handgun at him demanding that he get out of his vehicle. After he got out of his car, the suspect then got into the car and took off with it.
The man who allegedly stole the car was described as a black male in his mid-twenties, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with dark pants.
After about an hour had passed, officers located the stolen vehicle in the 8400 block of Kentucky in Raytown, Mo. The suspect was no longer with the car, and has not been identified.
