RAYTOWN, Mo. — A shooting at 79th and Hardy is being investigated according to a spokeswoman for the Raytown Police Department. The incident stems from an earlier robbery of a fast food restaurant on Friday.

The department said that officers in the area of the shooting located a suspect matching the description of the robbery suspect. When they approached him, the suspect displayed a gun and officers in turn pulled their weapons and opened fire.
