KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Adding another splash in free agency, the Kansas City Chiefs agreed to terms with former Miami Dolphins cornerback Sean Smith on Thursday.

According to a report by Albert Breer and Ian Rapoport on NFL.com, Smith’s deal is worth $18 million over three years and $11 million guaranteed.

The 25-year-old Smith will be entering his fifth season in the NFL. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 2009 NFL draft, and has played his entire career in Miami. In 63 career games, Smith racked up 179 tackles and five interceptions.
