KANSAS CITY, Mo. — When it comes to picking up a computer virus or some other form of malware, it seems that pornographic web sites aren’t the most dangerous websites to visit, according to one anti-virus software maker.

Instead, according to Symantec, the most dangerous websites for picking up a virus are actually the complete opposite of a porn site – they are religious websites.

According Symantec’s Internet Security Threat Report, religious websites had, on average, 115 security threats per site while pornographic websites only had an average of 25 threats per site.

The report from Symantec, which makes Norton anti-virus software, is considered to be an authoritative source in the computer security industry.
