KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An armed man terrorized a few people in Kansas City, Mo., after robbing a Subway sandwich shop on Wednesday.
Police said an armed man entered the Subway near 63rd and Troost around 4:30 p.m. and demanded everyone to the ground.
Surveillance video shows the suspect putting a gun to the back of a customer’s head and snatch her purse. The suspect then pointed the gun at an employee and demanded the cash register be emptied. The suspect became angry at the employee for taking too long and began counting down from five. The employee managed to get the cash register open and the suspect grabbed the cash drawer and ran from the store.
The suspect is described as a black male in his early twenties, 5’7″ to 5’10”, wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket, dark skull cap and was armed with a dark-colored handgun.
